Up for auction is an original 1983 McDonald’s Ronald McDonald Circus Happy Meal “translite” style sign (the kind they used to put on the menu boards – it’s a thick plastic that allows light to shine through – really great for display).
This is the FULL SIZED version, measuring 21.5 in x 21.5 in
. The sign has some discoloration along the left edge of the sign from initial display at the restaurant
– nothing that particularly impacts its presentation, but something worth noting just in case – please view all six pics to make your own assessment on overall condition. These translite signs were supposed to be disposed of after a two to four week period of display and early ones are very scarce.
This sign hasn’t appeared on eBay in a few years, making it a must have for any McDonald’s collector. The sign will be shipped rolled in a hard tube and sent via priority mail.
